We're moving!
Last week, I announced on instagram that the city in the image below will become the new physical home of Harmonious Resolutions!
That’s right – we are relocating to Missoula, Montana this spring! I am so excited to share this news with the masses as it’s been a (somewhat) long time coming behind the scenes.
In 2019, I spent a lot of time in the west exploring and really, really loved it. When we visited Grand Teton NP in the fall of that year, it was so refreshing and calming to be in the mountains. After that trip, my husband said that he’d move out west without hesitation. I wasn’t too impressed by Bozeman and knew there was no way I’d move to Wyoming. I also wasn’t so sure because I’ve spent much (all?) of the last decade creating a community here in Nashville.
The last few months of 2019 and first few of 2020 (the before times) were all about building a business community and connections for this business. It was hard work that was necessary to scale and grow this business.
And then...
Well, you already know how that part about business goes.
We started talking and dreaming about moving west. Initially, we set out to create a 2 to 5 year plan to move out west. Then, we changed that to 18 months. After researching and seeing market trends in Western Montana and here in Nashville, we accelerated our timeline. Once we understood what we needed to do to get our house ready to sell and to buy a house in Missoula, we set plans in motion.
These plans included renovating a kitchen in 2 weeks, finishing a bathroom renovation in 1.5 weeks, and many other tiny projects. We feel strongly it’s all going to be worth it and we are just so, so excited.
As they say: the mountains are calling and we must go.
What does this mean for HR?
In the current global circumstances, all of Harmonious Resolutions business has transitioned completely to online. I’ve delivered half a dozen workshops this year online and plan to take the virtual workshop route until we see widespread vaccinations and get closer to our “new normal.” I will also provide conflict and enneagram support and workshops locally in Western Montana.
So grateful to have launched this business in the wonderful city of Nashville, TN! It’s truly bittersweet to be leaving and I hope you all who have found me through Nashville Community Education and other local Nashville work will continue to follow along.
